ITEC Technologies provided the design and technical project management for the audio system on the Ultimate Energy attraction in Wuhan China.  This attraction has multiple themed spaces and preshow theaters that guest move through until they enter the main theater area.

The queue areas are designed to be similar in layout to a museum space.  Guests can freely move in the space to see the various exhibits.  The preshow is a large single screen video presentation.  The main theater is an extremely large projection screen that also included a large stage for actors which were part of the overall show.

All the audio sources were stored on digital playback equipment.  Every space in the attraction was provided with unique background music and localized paging.  The museum spaces consisted of multiple discrete audio tracks for each exhibit.  The preshow theater audio consisted of 9 separate audio tracks.  These were split into 2 screen clusters, 1 sub-woofer, 2 back of house and 4 overhead effects channels.  A wireless microphone system was also installed which could support 2 actors.

The main theater audio consisted of 40 separate audio tracks.  These were split into 5 large screen clusters, 2 sub-woofer, 5 back of house, and 28 overhead channels that allowed effects to be moved seamlessly around the theater.  All the audio tracks were synchronized to the video using 7th sense servers.  A wireless microphone system was also installed which could support up to 5 simultaneous actors.
